Claire Edwardes and Emily Granger join forces in a highly engaging program of Australian and international works by gender diverse living composers, with their two monolithic instruments, the marimba and the harp. RECITAL percussion & dance
A music & dance recital in 6 parts - this is my collaboration with contemporary dancer, Richard Cilli where we unite our distinctive virtuosic talents to create a unique double-act. What first appears as an expository or formal recital soon reveals a more complex and disturbing shadow of difference and rivalry. I get to dance and move and run and it is alot of fun! The show features original music by me & Paul Mac with direction by the legendary Gideon Obarzanek and premiered at Dance Massive in Melbourne in 2019.
